I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting this. In Pilot J’s absence — he’s getting some much needed R and R down at the capital — these other two floor dwellers have had some time to get to know one another. At first, Cooga was a little hesitant, a little bit shy. But Lily, well, Lily was always sure as all hell that this furry, four-legged barking person who so shamelessly poops outdoors for all the world to see would just love her. She, it turns out, was on the money.
Thanks Aunt Lynne! March 27, 2008
Lily got a package in the mail the other day from her Auntie Lynne in Massachusetts. It contained two cute baby turtlenecks (or turtle babynecks?) and a tactile book. After she chewed on the corners a little bit, she figured out how to flip the pages and now gets a kick out of the interesting textures inside.
That’s Odd March 27, 2008
First it started hailing. Then came the slush. And then it seemed what was falling was actually snow. But that was yesterday, and it all melted. Nature apparently had another trick up her sleeve, however, because we woke up to find our world looking more like December than March.
In other news, I didn’t post anything yesterday despite my promise. I’ll be doing penance today, I assure you. Perhaps three posts in one day? Perhaps.
